Queen of the Moorlands takes its name from Leek, the historic market town known as the Queen of the Staffordshire Moorlands. With more than 20 years of independent bottling heritage linked to Wine & Whisky in Leek, our name reflects the people, places and stories that make this corner of England distinctive — while the whisky itself is selected from Scotland's distilleries.

The Mill Range
Our newest collection celebrates Leek's historic mills through limited single malt releases. It begins with The Big Mill: a 10-year-old Glen Garioch, bottled at 46% ABV.
The Village Collection
Characterful, individually selected whiskies inspired by the villages of the Staffordshire Moorlands. A collection for those who enjoy distinctive and often more powerful expressions.

A home for our older and more exceptional bottlings, bringing together whisky with maturity, individuality and a story worth preserving.
The Big Mill.
Built on heritage.
Our first Mill Range bottling takes its name from Britannia Mill, affectionately known in Leek as The Big Mill — a landmark of the town's silk-working history.
That industrial legacy lives on in the illustration on the bottle and in a collection created to celebrate the mills that shaped the town.
Inside the striking black presentation box is a limited-release Glen Garioch Highland single malt, aged 10 years, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
